2013 marks the 47th year the Beaver Island Club of Grand Rapids has been hosting yearly parties. We are in the second generation of members. Our current members are; Dave and Diane (president) Westmaas, Paul (vice president) and Shirley Cole, Mike and Cindy (secretary) Kruizenga, Jim (treasurer) and Andrea Gallagher, Greg Albrecht, Kelly Flipse, and Emily Gray.
We as the second generation of The Beaver Island Club of Grand Rapids are striving to continue the tradition of our Sages. It is our goal to promote a very stimulating, joyous gathering, one filled with much laughter, dancing, and reminiscing. We are also working toward supporting Beaver Island in many ways. We are continuing to promote the Glen McDonough Memorial Music Scholarship for Eleanor McDonough.
We always welcome new members. If you would like to join, email the club or give one of us a call. There are no obligations, just come by a meeting and see what goes into the planning and enjoy some good friendship and conversation.
